Maggie Warren
Intervention & Assessment Coordinator
Hi! I am Margaret “Maggie” Warren, and I am happy to be at PTEC as the Assessment, Intervention, and 504 Coordinator. I grew up in Oklahoma and earned my degree in Special Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. I have worked in education in Oklahoma, Texas, North Dakota, and Colorado.
I enjoy helping students learn, especially when I can help a student learn a new skill, gain confidence, or find something they are good at. I am trained in LETRS and Orton-Gillingham and have a special interest in the Science of Reading.
My family has called Colorado Springs home since 2010. I have been married to my husband, Dean, for 22 years, and we have an 18-year-old son.
When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, walking my dog, and finding great coffee. I love romantic comedies, historical fiction, 80s music, peanut M&Ms, and cheering on the Denver Broncos and Oklahoma Sooners. Boomer Sooner!
Something you may not know about me: In May 2011, I became a living kidney donor.
Most importantly, I see you, I care about you, and I am here to help you succeed!
