A graduate of UCCS with a B.S. In Physics and certificate of Secondary Education, Grayson has also been awarded the LAS Award for the Dept. Of Physics and graduated Suma Cum Laude. Having completed his Apprentice Teaching work at PTEC, he was hired in the fall of '26 to teach mathematics. This is his first-year teaching. However, he has multiple years of education experience from leading martial arts classes to TA'ing for over a year. He believes in teaching with a mix of Direct Instruction and Project Based Learning, both of which have proven to be exemplary styles of educating. He believes that every student can learn and wants to learn, and that if they haven't, then the teacher has not taught!

Having been born here in Colorado, Grayson also enjoys being in nature, crafting with wood, leather and metal, as well as playing D&D. He has one pet cat named Alvitr (Norse Valkyrie name meaning 'strange creature'). His favorite color is black and he will almost never be caught without it. Even his kitty is solid black!
