Levi Smith
History/Character/Spanish Teacher
Levi Smith got his Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies at Kansas State University as well as Minors in Spanish and Leadership Studies. During his Graduate School, he taught 11 sections of Public Speaking 1 for the University. Other than that, he’s been a teacher at PTEC since January 2025.
Levi believes that effort is the most important part of being a good student. He knows that every student can learn and wants to learn, and he strives to continuously prove that’s true through intentional, kind communication with all students every day.
Mr. Smith loves music — especially music that happens to be twice as old as he is. His favorite hobby is riding his commuter unicycle around town. Of course, he loves hiking, video games, and hanging out with friends and family as well.
My goals for students are to feel confident about their knowledge of history, their ability to express themselves in Spanish, and their ability to speak publicly to groups of their peers.
There are all sorts of interesting facts about Mr. Smith that seem to make him especially unique. If you’re interested in learning more about these facts, your best bet is to meet with him yourself.

He’s married to his amazing wife, Heather, has a brilliant step kid, and has two cats unless you count that cat he begrudgingly gave to his parents who are back in Kansas.
